New G684, Where are you?

G684, original in Fujian Province, China, is a famous black basalt material that widely accepted by the market, it has very black color and relative competitive price.

However, since 2017, the supply of G684 columns has been more and more difficult, one reason is that local government issued an environment improvement plan, this caused the future of G684 quarries unclear, another reason is that after so many years exploitation, the quality of basalt column got decreased. Entering 2018, the market feels more pain from the supply of G684 since many factories were forced to integrate into big scaled giants by local government.

In such situation, market is calling for a substitute black granite material, both in good black color and price competitive.

One black material from norther China, named G1304B, provided by Yantai Profstone, is playing a more and more important role in substituting G684 supply. This material is kind of black Granite, has good performance on honed and flamed+waterjet surface; recently years, our engineer developed waterjet+brush processing to make the material looks even blacker and better.
